Steven is an experienced litigator with more than twenty years of experience representing a diverse set of clients in product liability matters, commercial disputes, antitrust matters, contract disputes, real estate and eminent domain proceedings, corporate governance disputes, intellectual property disputes, and civil appeals. His clients include high tech companies, manufacturers, distributors, financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate and business investors, small businesses, and professionals. Steven has tried cases and represented clients in state and federal courts across the United States at the trial court and appellate court level. Steven has also represented clients in arbitration proceedings and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings and in administrative compliance proceedings and actions.
Current matters include products liability claims involving commercial and passenger tire manufacturers and distributors, commercial and business disputes, antitrust litigation, business dissolution proceedings, contract litigation, and real property litigation.
In recent years, Steven has also begun handling a number of transactional matters, including real estate purchase and sale agreements, real estate financing and deeds of trust, real estate development, commercial leases, business sales, distribution agreements, and licensing agreements.
Steven is the head of RBMN’s real estate transactions and litigation practice group, and is a member of the litigation, business, and appellate practice groups. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of California, Arizona, and Utah, in the United States District Courts in California, Utah, Colorado, the Southern District of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits.
